The long term PTFE impregnation is bound to the yarn in a special process resulting in a consistent packing of uniform density and compressibility. It is thoroughly impregnated with PTFE in order to enhance the chemical resistance, lubrication and dimensional stability, this helps to ensure even gland local distribution and promoting longer packing life. |

Typical Application Areas
ITK® style 320 is made of Ramie fibres which has very slim attrition to the shaft, so it's an ideal material to be used in sea water, clean water with low temperature, low speed and equipment with media of food, oil and fruit juice. This packing is extremely suitable for pumps & valves carrying raw water, chilled water, cooling water, sewerage treatment plants, paper industry etc. Ideal applications includes pumps, agitators, mixers and any application where radial shaft movement may be present as well as abrasive products.
